I’m Ben, originally from the UK I now live in sunny Queensland in Australia.
I was always overweight. I was a fat kid in school and got picked on. My big brother, a very skinny guy, was the worst about it. This potential role model showed me nothing about how to be slim like him. He just loved to call me “Gut-bucket”
For almost a year whilst I was at university I was a healthy weight. Away from my family I could eat what I wanted when I wanted and I cycled everywhere. I was slim and fit but my diet was not very healthy.
After university I landed my dream job in a big American Investment Bank in London. Long hours at my desk, big lunches, tea & cakes in the afternoon and pints of beer after work meant that I gained over 40lbs in under 12 months. My friends from University who had never seen me that fat joked that I looked pregnant. I did.
10 years later I’d gone up and down in weight by 15lbs BUT I was still overweight by 50lbs. A change of job to working from home as an IT Consultant & Programmer meant that I had even more time to snack and even less walking than meant everything I ate made me
In April I got Gout. It is very painful and caused by “rich foods”. I had it a few years before too but that doctor didn’t diagnose it because I was under 30 and it’s really something 50+ year olds get
My doctor did blood tests and my cholesterol levels were bad! Too much salt and too much bad fat in my diet….. “Oh no, not the corn chips!” I thought, I was addicted to them.
My father died when he was 37 years old of a massive heart attack.
I was just a boy but I remember that he was about 30lbs overweight and did no exercise at all. Like me, except I was 45lbs overweight.
Scariest of all was that he also used to get gout and was on meds for it when he died!
I got a real wake-up call. My health and my family history and a baby daughter had made me realize that if I want to see her grow up I needed to CHANGE MY LIFE AND IMPROVE MY HEALTH FAST!

May 5th - 220lbs (100kg)
I’d spent months worrying and thinking about what I could do but really I’d done nothing. I just didn’t know where to start.
I did cut out foods like the doctor said and lost about 10lbs over a few months but my cravings and bad habits were all too strong. It was so frustrating I was getting very depressed. I will still 40lbs overweight.
Then I met a friend of a friend who told me about a diet he’d found online and used, he said I had to try because it had worked for him. He showed me a photo on his cellphone of how big he used to be just a few month before… I thought THIS IS IT… I got started right away.
He’d lost 45lbs (20kg) in just a few months and got extremely fit.
Within a week I had lost 9lbs (4kg) and I steadily lost weight over the next 2 months, down to 185lbs (85kg).
Right from that very first week I felt energized like never before. I actually wanted to get up and go exercise – I had never felt that way before.
I went a bit off the system whilst travelling to see my family in the UK during August and September but I maintained that weight and fitness without any real gain. When I got home to Australia and back on the fat burning system I was losing weight again right away!

The following Christmas - 82kg / 180lbs
I recently had a checkup and my doctor was very impressed with my cholesterol levels when he compare them with last year. They’re all well within the normal range now and I haven’t had any gout since I started to lose the fat.
Right now I am still at my target weight at 172lbs (78kg). I am fitter than ever before, even fitter than whan I cycled across London everyday because I know my diet is really good for me.
I am now really happy that I know how to eat well and I’m looking forward to a long, healthy and happy life with my family.
I have energy to run, swim, jump and play with my young daughter like I never imagined and it all started with this amazing fat loss system
